Texture - that's what creates interest and warmth in a space.  There's a reason we, as people, are drawn to touching the fuzzy, soft woolly things in life.  Cause they're awesome!  hello...   A table looks more dressed with table clothes or placemats, a sofa looks more cozy with a throw (or 3), a bed looks way more inviting with too many throw pillows.  It's these touches that make a space hard to resist, a place where visitors hesitate leaving and where your family longs to stay.
